This Autumn, the Broadclyst Environment Group will be hosting three community litter picks across the parish. These events will mark the first use of our brand-new litter picking equipment, purchased thanks to a generous grant from Broadclyst Parish Council. The new kit includes litter pickers (in both adult and child sizes), high-visibility jackets (also available in adult and child sizes), litter bag hoops, and first aid kits. We also have an existing supply of heavy-duty gloves and bin bags.
Upcoming Litter Picks
Litter picks will be held in Westclyst, Tithebarn, and Broadclyst. Find details of your local event below – everyone is welcome!
- Westclyst: 2pm – 3.30pm on Saturday 25th October 2025. Meet at the Swale in Hillside Gardens (what3words: puzzle.sizes.bother).
- Tithebarn: 10am – 11.30am on Sunday 26th October 2025. Meet by Tesco Express (what3words: concerts.reactions.wonderful).
- Broadclyst: 10am – 11.30am on Saturday 1st November 2025. Meet by the Sports Pavilion (what3words: skyrocket.uproot.tiny).
