Recipes for the Planet

Colin Rea (Broadclyst Environment Group):

Thank you so much for downloading these recipes for the planet. I’m assuming you’re here because you care about the environment. I do, too.

There is growing evidence that changing the way we eat can be one of the most powerful things we can individually do to help the planet. Even swapping out one meat/dairy meal a week for a plant-based meal can save around 143kg of carbon emissions per year. Lots of us making small changes can make a big impact.

These recipes are not mine. They have been adapted from other sources (listed on each recipe). Feel free to adapt to your own tastes. You can click on each item on the contents page to take you directly to the recipe you want.

Eating plant-based food doesn’t have to mean only eating a couple of carrots, a limp lettuce leaf and being miserable for the rest of your life. You can eat plant-based food AND enjoy it (I promise). This recipe starter kit is designed to start you off with some simple, lip-smackingly tasty recipes that I hope you and your family will love and continue to cook for years to come.

Happy cooking!
