Training in Water Quality Testing

Several volunteers from the Broadclyst Environment Group, with Westcountry Rivers Trust as citizen scientists, measure water quality on the Clyst in locations throughout our Parish. It is also great to hear of a new group emerging who will be monitoring the Pin Brook (the watercourse that flows through Tithebarn). For those of you on Facebook, check out the “Friends of Pinbrook” Facebook page.

The Broadclyst Environment Group recently attended an event hosted by National Trust Killerton where we met numerous others looking to get involved and to also receive some training.
