150 New Trees Planted at Cyst Meadows, Broadclyst Station

Thanks to the amazing volunteers from the Broadclyst Environment Group who braved the weather and planted 150 Hazel, Blackthorn, Oak, Guelder Rose and Hawthorn plants to create a new hedgebank at Clyst Meadows – our new Country Park in Broadclyst Station.

The plants were grown from locally collected seed by Devon Wildlife Trust’s Saving Devon’s Treescapes Heathfield Nursery.

Clyst Meadows will open to the public in autumn 2025, following construction of paths, a car park and fencing this summer.
