Introducing the New Broadclyst Environment Group Logo

The Broadclyst Environment Group has been active for just over three years, and after careful consideration, we felt it was time to create a logo that truly reflects our identity. After several revisions, we are pleased to present the final design.

The logo features a cluster of large trees on a hill, symbolising the diverse communities within the Parish. This design also acknowledges the abundance of wooded areas that are part of our local landscape. Additionally, the meandering river depicted in the logo represents the River Clyst, which is likely the origin of Broadclyst’s name. The logo also alludes to the River Culm, located to the north-west of the Parish, along with the various streams and brooks that flow through the area.

The natural colors of green and blue have been chosen to reflect an environmental theme, evoking trees, plants, water, and clean air—all essential elements for a sustainable and healthy environment. While we anticipate the logo may evolve slightly over time, we believe it now captures the key concepts that define our mission.
